In Tamsui, Taipei, there is a beautiful lane hidden among the old antique buildings and seaside plants that is often overlooked by tourists since there isn’t a name for it.
So I marked it on the Google map below so you can easily find it when you visit here in the future. It just takes about 5 mins to walk through.
But you can spend as much time as you please when you take a stroll here … you may take a closer look at the plants, bugs or maybe cats nearby, you may gaze far into the Tamsui river just beneath you, or you may pretend that you were the Spanish colonist that were building this new land in a Far East island in the 17th century….
At the end of the lane, you will spot the auditorium of the Aletheia University and take a left turn you will arrive at the San Domingo Fort…
