千里迢迢來到了 Steemfest 不僅想要得到關於 Steem 區域鏈的最新狀況，當然更重要的是要享受這幾天的時光，更好當然要有美食和美酒，今天我就跟大家看看大會為大家準備了什麼！

Apart from getting the latest information about Steem blockchain, it is also very important to enjoy as hard as we can during the Steemfest to make it really worthwhile and let explore what Steemfest has prepared for the participants.

這裡正是 Steemfest Hackathon 的現場，你看看他們為了勝出比賽而多麼的認真。。 當然成功的人背後總是要有美食的支持。

This is where the participants are having the Hackathon event. I am sure they would perform better with the great dessert.

早上來到了大會的現場，我們的記者。。。餓了。進去眼看了美味的三明治和這次大會的招牌 “Creamy” Tart，我可以想像她們都在狂吃吧 :)

During the conference, sandwiches and the “creamy” delicious tart were provided to the participants such that it would help them to be better prepare for the conference with loaded information.

此為本週Weekly來自里斯本的SteemFest 2特別報導！特派美女記者 @rea與 @joythewanderer前進現場，為您帶來第一手的獨家畫面與報導！以下為前兩期報導：

Steem的美妙之處在於，創造出的不只是一個區塊鏈，而是從此而延生的跨地域社群。跟其他的區塊鏈項目相比顯得更多元，因為被吸引而來的不僅僅是geek，而是各個領域的blogger、vlogger、各種媒介的創作者，以及各路奇人異士。

The beautiful aspect about Steem is that it is not just a new technology, but it created a cross-regional community. Not many other blockchain projects like Steem which attracted so many bloggers, vloggers and content creators from various fields. All the cool and talented and enthusiastic people are gathering here on this platform.

Steem區塊鏈上各種展示多元文化的內容是非常珍貴的。我們CN區有一個翻譯計畫已經持續了兩個月——《文化讀癮．一週譯報》（Culture Vulture for CNers），目的就是希望把這個平台的多元文化面貌帶到CN區。

The most precious things here are those contents representing cultural diversity of the world. The Culture Vulture for CNers project aims to bring these valuable contents to the CN community.

這是現場捕獲的 @eroche 本人！是的，就是先有他的 #CultureVulture 徵文比賽計畫，才有了我們的Culture Vulture for CNers。Culture Vulture計畫在短短四個月裡累積了超過900篇文章。

Here we have @eroche with us. He is the one behind the project “Culture Vulture” which then give birth to our “Culture Vulture for CNers” project. He has been talking to the Spanish curation team to bring the CV project to Spanish community as well. The project has been run for less than four months, but already accumulated more than 900 posts from authors around the world.

SteemFest真是處處驚喜。 @eroche 與 @martibis湊在一塊，又是一個未來合作與資源整合的火花。 @martibis就是Steemit World Map的靈魂人物。看著Steemit的文章化成世界地圖上的一個又一個座標，這確實是另一個閱讀世界的角度。所以，Culture Vulture與Steemit World Map的碰撞真的很讓人期待！

Eroche was having a conversation with @martibis, the creator of Steemit World Map. They were talking about a very much anticipated collaboration between the two projects.

但這裡先要恭喜 @martibis，Steemit World Map是前一天的Hackathon其中一個得獎項目！

Congratulations to @martibis for his winning in the SteemFest Hackathon.

Meet the SteemFestians

永續生活社區「Garden of Eden」（ @gardenofeden）的發起人 @quinneaker 。是個非常有意思的Steemian，做的更是非常有意義的計畫。他在SteemFest短講裡，聊著他的手作皮革外套——當然，是一件符合永續地球理念的外套。

This is @quinneaker, the creator of Garden of Eden. He was talking about his sustainable handmade leather jacket!

@starkerz的短講討論的是有關Steem的宣傳，以及社群自律（比如負責任地SP使用規範）的相關事情。這裡可以讀到更詳細的報導。

@Starkerz was giving a very inspiring talk, regarding Steem promotion and responsible use of Steem power.

來自倫敦的 @allasyummyfood，分享她在Steemit的經驗。她說，她的YouTube頻道有三十萬個訂閱者，但其實並沒有給她帶來什麼收入。現在，她的Steemit帳號只有六千個follower，比YouTube少太多了，但這裡的收入卻是讓她十分滿意與開心呢！

@allasyummyfood from London was giving a presentation, also very inspirational. She has 300,000 YouTube followers but not earning much money; now the 6000 Steemit followers provide her a decent amount of income which is incredible.

@jerrybanfield，大家對他應該不會太陌生。他在現場的搞笑演出，就像他在Steemit平台上發表的內容一樣，總是讓人印象深刻。我們的現場記者說，他可是個非常nice的人呢！

@jerrybanfield performed a comedy show. According to our Angel Reporter, he is such an easy-going and super nice guy. It’s very pleasant to talk to him in person.

本週內，Weekly將有一連串來自里斯本的SteemFest 2特別報導！Surprise！我們特別秘密企劃了這次特刊，將維持一周左右，且我們有特派美女記者 @rea與 @joythewanderer前進現場，為您帶來第一手的獨家畫面與報導！但為了不耽誤記者們的歡樂與會（看看我們對員工多好^^），我們的報導品質可能會沒什麼內容！哈哈！反正就是歡樂，第一手，盡量為您掌握！也歡迎留言，指定我們記者去問任何與會的Steemian任何問題，有意義、有禮貌且有可能實現的，我們會即時通知她們試試看，好嗎？

這題材靈感來自於上一期 O 哥問:

帮我问问啥时候拉盘？

說真的，這也是我非常想知道的問題，而且我也相信很多人也關心這問題吧。從目前為止，Steemfest 也取得了一定的成功，因為今天我在其中一個聊天室看到了一個非常感性的留言說：看過 Steemfest Livestream 之後，我對 Steem 未來的價格又充滿了信心了（看來他是準備好All In 了）。

我也從 @rea與 @joythewanderer 的報導中找到了一些蛛絲馬跡，今天挑了幾個重點跟大家分享一下。

以上絕對是今年剩下二個月內的一個最重要的更新 - Mobile Wallet。一直在很多場合聽到這個資訊，原本還以為沒有希望今年能夠上線，竟然在此時候 @sneak 公佈了在今年十二月便可以在 Android 和 IOS 下載這一個應用程式，可以說是天大的喜訊。

儘管最近的 Logo Change 引來一些網路上的罵戰，但是我相信這只是 Rebranding 的其中一個小步驟。例如我們現在看到的 Mobile App 也是 Steemit.com 為了發展 Steem 而努力開發的程式。美中不足的是在這一次Steemfest 沒有看到 Mobile Wallet Demo，如果這應用程式也可以擁有像 e-Steem 一樣的功能，這樣絕對可以吸引更多新的用戶並提高我們的用戶體驗。

We have only around 2 months until 2018, but there is still one major update to be reported which is the Mobile Wallet. As part of the rebranding processing, we are expecting to be able to download the latest apps in both Android and IOS in December 2017. Unfortunately, we are not able to see further detail at the moment for the Mobile Wallet but if they could offer the similar function of what e-Steem looks like, this will definitely help improving the user experience.

另外一個消息當然是要看 Jeff 神 ( @dollarvigilante) 在這次 Steemfest 提出對 Steem 價格的一些看法。作為加密貨幣的神級投資者，他一上場便不諱言說自己對 Steem 的成長是失望的，主要原因是既然 FB，Twitter 也可以吸引這麼多的用戶，那可以賺錢的 Steem 應該有更大的誘因讓人在這裡發文分享吧。

從用戶的角度，他很快便指出關鍵的問題在於：1) 開戶需要的時間。 2) 市場推廣策略。

關於開戶時間，這個問題應該可以在下一次 Hard Fork (Steem: Velocity) 可以得到解決，Jeff 神提到了現代的人跟本沒有辦法等一週才可以完成開戶的動作，更有可能的是開戶後便全部忘記什麼是 Steem。所以假如HF20 可以把這問題解決絕對有助 Steem 的擴展性。

在市場推廣策略方面，除了一直在討論的 SMT外，這一次還提到 Referral 的制度，在目前什麼也是 Word of Mouth的年代，如果幫助推廣有referral bonus，相信大家也會更積極去介紹好友加入吧（我好像已經看到很多人拿出手機的聯絡人資訊了。。。）

Jeff 神最後的總結認為雖然Steem的價格沒有好像想像的那麼高，但是他也同意只要能做好以上幾點，Steem的潛在價值還是非常高的。

The legend cryptocurrency investor @jeffberwick pointed out that he thought the Steem price should be higher than what we are seeing today and he suggested that there are two problem to be solved before the price could surge higher and they are: 1) the time required to open an account. 2) Marketing strategy

For the next HF, we are expecting to see there will be a huge improvement in the account opening process and it will definitely help the scalability of Steem because it is hard for a new user to wait for a week to have the account activated. There is also some mentioning of the potential referral system within Steem and I am sure it will help motivate all of us to try to get on board as many friends as possible with the potentially new implemented referral system.

I am sure the purpose of this post is very clear … So I won’t repeat it again. The point is … to share the deliciousness that is absolutely absent in a far far away boring city in Eu… thread…no,… Eu… string? … No, Oh, yeah, EuRope… or whatever… of a classical globally renowned Southeast Asian cuisine - the Hainan Chicken Rice!!!

The Ching Cheng Hoinan Chicken Rice that is described by a TripAdvisor comment as “the best Hainan Chicken Rice in the world“ while ranking 228th best restaurant among 13,249 restaurants in the Taipei city.

Of course it is delicious. But world’s 1st? Well, I cannot say that as I had way better HCR else where like in Singapore where the cuisine marks its name with. But it is absolutely great in Taipei, maybe still not the best in terms of absolute quality, but definitely #1 in terms of C/P value.

One HCR only costs you NT90 ($3) and NT115($4) respectively for a simpler plate (basically chicken and rice only) or a complete plate (with some side dishes). How cheap is it for a really great and quality classic Asian dish?

Tonight was raining a little bit in Taipei and it certainly cannot quench people’s desire to taste a bite of HCR. Us neither. We are glad they processed the queue rather quickly and we got ourselves a nice seat! Enjoy it with us! Cheers!

有人在遙遠的里斯本歡樂中，我們可不能示弱，所以週五下班就去吃了台北最有名的『慶城海南雞飯』！哼！好吃得很，我們也很愉快，歐洲那裡有這麼好吃的亞洲美食啊！羨慕吧！（好弱是嗎？嗚嗚嗚～～～我也要去啦！）

今夜台北小雨，澆不熄我們追美食的決心！當然啦，論海南雞飯，台北怎麼可能可以跟新加坡之類的正統地區拼呢，我們還是有自知之明的啦！但在台北要吃這道，慶城絕對是平價版中的首選哪！一道雞飯，簡單版只要台幣90，豐富版有配菜也只要115元！比百貨公司美食街還便宜！我算是海南雞飯迷，這家非常適合來台北旅行的學生或窮人追逐的美食，當然，大部分時候還是在地人吃啦！你看看！排隊這麼多人啦！

今天信箱裡躺著一封郵件，來自「EmailCash 台灣電子郵件市調網」，頓時勾起我不少記憶。

好久好久以前，我曾經跟它們很熟。那時還稍微研究過，這家網站源自於澳洲，由台裔澳洲人創辦，在當地算很成功，後來榮耀返鄉，成為台灣目前最大的會員獎勵網站，現在還是不是，我早已不知道了。

或許是出身非富貴之家，我年輕時對於所謂網路賺錢，總是有種浪漫憧憬（翻譯：不腳踏實地，老是想在坐電腦前就能賺錢）。但你也知道所謂網路賺錢，幾乎99.99%全都是騙人的，要不然就是傳銷，一樣可以算得上是騙人的。所以，我也從來沒認真過，直到偶然機會接觸EmailCash，才發現他們是真的會送錢的。

當然不是平白無故的，這是不可能的。

大致上來說，就是以非常少的金額，鼓勵你每日登入，還可以玩玩樂透，然後得回答一兩題每日問題才能拿到每天大概是0.5台幣，非常非常少，但不能說是無感的金額（對當時的年輕人，且考慮每天的話）。你還可以用所謂e元（emailcash token?^^）來競標商品，有機會得到超越競標e元的商品例如iphone之類的。主力賺錢的管道是，如果你符合條件的話，做問卷就是最大現金來源。

看看這次我被通知的問卷：

今天看到這封信（其實已經催促了幾次，還不放棄一直寄來），真的有很深的感慨啊！其一是，時光飛逝，好有一種老朋友捎來問候的感覺。其二，想起這家開始在台灣經營年代始於2004年，那時，什麼中本聰的傢伙都還沒出現呢（可能正在研發區塊鏈中），更何況比特幣呢！這EmailCash名稱中也有Cash，也算是前輩嗎？LOL…. 其三，Email儘管大家都還在使用中，但透過Email來行銷，早已是過時落伍多年了… 第四，當然就是我打從去年開始玩Steem，網路賺錢這回事兒，達到一種前所未見的高度（當然我個人幸運，但很多人也在這裡有非常奇妙的金錢之旅啊！），對比當初好多年前的這個網路問卷服務，當真有時代已過一輪的感慨！

看到信寄來，知道他們還在營運，不知道他們對於這些新科技們，了解有多少？是恐慌即將被擊垮，是積極準備轉型，還是，其實，什麼都不知道，慢慢等待命運之神，扔出決定的骰子，而後各安天命？

重新造訪了網站，我感到，似乎情況，並不樂觀哪！

但回想他們曾經創造的東西，畢竟也算是一種成就，能夠超脫騙人與傳銷，成立公司，以網站與Gaming design留住使用者，然後進行問卷調查，提供其他商家收費採用。這可是標準的Attention Economy啊！目前Steem都還沒做到的地步呢！只是時間是殘酷的，新的東西不斷迸發，舊的模式，似乎也只能坐著等待命運何時結束，說要創新轉型，通常不如就好好結束，尤其是對於這類中小型的網路公司。當然，他們還活得好好的，說不定沒我寫得這麼悲觀呢…

這麼一回頭想，想想當年Satoshi Nakamoto在研究催生bitcoin這e-cash時，不就大概是在這樣的年代？在這emailcash引領風騷的時代？而在這比特幣已經三天兩頭上了傳統媒體報導的2017年此刻，會不會又有什麼劃時代的東西，其實正在世界的某個角落裡，躺在某人的電腦資料夾裡，十年之後，出來叱吒風雲？
