This is what I suspect will happen and it seems to be happening after HF18 … 

Check the trending page of #cn tag … and you will see top 5 posts are from @sweetsssj (3 posts) and @officialfuzzy (2 posts). I love both authors greatly so don’t get me wrong. Well, as much as I love fuzzy, I don’t consider him to be a regular cn-tag user or part of cn community (although he is certainly welcome lol). That’s why I remove his two posts from the above image. 

So the only author left is @sweetsssj. Well, we love her and her posts even more, so this is not at all personal (sorry! sweetsssj for mentioning you). Obviously, in the future if fuzzy doesn’t use cn tag and sweetsssj posts with her regular pace, then we will be very likely to have a all/almost sweet cn trending. As much as we love those great quality posts from sweet, the lost of diversity is indeed a pity. 

I believe this is not an issue specific to cn tag. Popular bloggers now will occupy the trending page with dominance as their posts, although really popular and great, have longer lives. 

I don’t think we should ask popular bloggers to blog less frequently - you cannot punish someone being successful, besides, their posts ARE good and should not be discouraged! Maybe it is time for us to review how trending works and maybe it need not coincide with payout period. For example, we can set a new 24-hr trending, like the way it used to be. I am not good with solutions. But hopefully can raise some awareness about this issue.

Finally, apologies to sweetsssj again - sorry for using you as an example here. I hope you can consider this as another kind of honor! :)

We went to I-Lan during the past long holidays in Taiwan. I-Lan is like the backyard garden to Taipei after the famous engineeringly challenging Hsueh Shan Tunnel was finished in 2006, creating a short passage between the metropitan city and the countryside I-Lan. Now it only takes around 1 hour to travel to I-Lan from downtown Taipei.

A lot to see, to experience and to eat in I-Lan. We went to a famous waterweed farm (they cultivate so many kinds of waterweeds) and enjoy its view and food there. We also visited the famous LanYang Meseum. It was also fun. 

Look at those special lights inside the waterweed farm’s house. Those are little waterweed tanks with lights!! So delicate! You definitely won’t see these kind of lights elsewhere! And their food is also great … some with waterweeds inside of course! Yummy!

幾天連續假日去了一趟宜蘭，台北的後花園。打從雪山隧道2006年通車後，宜蘭就成為台北的後花園，只要開車1小時不到就可以抵達，當然前提是不塞車，這對於隧道來說，是很大的前提。

宜蘭主要就是寬闊，農村，海洋，小吃，舒服… 一切台北沒有的東西…. 所以去宜蘭走走，是台北人非常容易的選擇。這次去了勝洋水草休閒農場跟蘭陽博物館等。這農場主人很厲害的，什麼種海草的冠軍頭銜很多，農場位於山與農田當中，遺世獨立，水田種了各式水草，自然有很多水底生態。當天陽光好，景色好，他們餐廳的食物好，非常舒服啊！

博物館就不介紹了，外型奇特，內容展覽也很好，但沒多拍照。

下次到台灣，一定要到宜蘭走走！我還沒放小吃呢….

Let me tell you a future story about Steem first … 

At bedtime, sitting beside my 7 years old son on his little cosy bed … 

Son: Daddy! Thank you for teaching me how to Steemit today! That was really cool!

Me: You are welcome buddy! I should have done this years ago! I am glad you like it!

Son: Yeah, totally … but, you know, I did my introductory post this afternoon but its potential payout has only $3 so far. I don’t think it is really impressive, how come? people don’t like me? you think?

Me: Son, of course not!! let me share a famous Steemit story with you. Long time ago, when all of this had just started, there was a guy who was lucky and quick enough to register the same account name with the platform, yes, his name is exactly @steemit. This @steemit guy is like Bill Gates [Son: who? Me: forget it, anyway, the richest man] in this steem universe. He currently owns like 30% of all exisiting Steems, something close to 100 millions of Steems!! According to current price, 1 Steem is worth 100 dollars. So he is now terribly rich with 10 billion dollars!! Anyway, a super rich guy. Do you know how much he earned from his first post!?

Son: Nope, … like 100 thousands?

Me: No!! No!! Not at all!! It was $1.7 only!! See!? Anyone can do that! You are doing better than he was!! So, who knows, you might be the richest guy in Steem universe in the future!! [Son quickly steeming on ipad …] 

Son: Daddy!! That’s the company account!!

Me: Oh well,… See!? You have done better than the founding company! Time to sleep, time to sleep! little guy! Steem, oh, sweet dreams!!
