Since the landscape of Hong Kong is fairly hilly to mountainous with steep slopes, Hong Kong possesses hundreds of hiking trails. Therefore, hiking is probably one of the most popular leisure activities for Hong Kong people. Yesterday, I went to Shing Mun Reservior hiking with my university friends.

由於香港屬丘陵地，多山且山勢陡峭，所以香港有著數百條行山徑，行山也是香港人在假日僅有的娛樂活動之一。昨天我就跟幾個大學朋友到了城門水塘行山。

Here was where we began our hiking journey.

這裡是我們開始遠足的地方。

Hiking is a good way to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind us and get in touch with the natural world where we live.

行山遠足是一種好渠道讓自己離開都市的煩囂，踏進身邊的自然世界。其實在香港這些天挺熱的，不太適合行山遠足，昨天也有新聞報道有青年行山途中感到不適需要送院治理

The weather was so hot and we began sweating shortly after, but it couldn’t stop us from finishing it!

香港的天氣十分悶熱，才剛出發大家都開始出汗了。

Many tall tall trees here.

這裡有很多高大的樹木呢。

We came across a cow on our way, it hid itself in the bushes and the trees, so cute. Can you see it?

途中還遇到牛牛呢，牠把自己藏在樹枝和草叢中間，很可愛呢。

There is a pavilion here, and you can take a rest.

這裡有個涼亭，可以休息一下。

We chose to go to the main dam here.

遇到分岔路口，我們向大壩的方向繼續前進。

Arrived at the second pavilion, and we were all so exhausted that we took a rest here. My friend also took out his drone from his bag and used it to cool us down, just acting like a fan. So cool xD

到了第二個涼亭，我們都累透了，就坐下來休息了一會兒，這時候我的朋友拿出他的珍貴的航拍為大家作電風扇呢，超級涼快的，原來這才是航拍的主要功能。

The drone was so cool and that made me want to buy one. Kidding, I have no money. T^T

看得我也很想買一部玩玩。

可惜我沒錢！

Let’s continue our hiking journey, we could also see some monkeys and cows on our way.

When we were about to finish, We saw a rubbish bin that is specially designed to prevent monkeys. You need to tread on the pedal to open the cover, so interesting. It felt good seeing signs of civilisation again and we have finally finished our hiking. I love the cold beverages!!

一個特地設計來預防猴子的垃圾桶，很有趣呢。在山裡走了這麽久，看見汽水機的時候真的十分感動呢！終於完成整條路線了！
