#196 Windmills at Sunset | 暮色中的风车群

Hey, guess where these windmills are? You probably got it right - in the Netherlands! I shot this photo in the famous windmill village of Kinderdijk, close to Rotterdam. This place is best known for its 19 iconic windmills built in the first half of 18th century.

I arrived in the afternoon and wandered around until sunset. By that time everything was closed, so it was quiet and peaceful. This waterway and the windmills were bathing in warm golden rays. Amazing serenity! Hope you enjoy this view as I did! =)

This is my entry for the photo contest by @ntopaz. It’s cropped as 16:9, so here’s my orginal photo, and last year I posted another b&w photo of a windmill from the same place:

Hi~ 能猜出我这张照片是在哪里拍的吗？没错，在风车之国 —— 荷兰！这个蛮有名的小孩堤坝风车村位于鹿特丹东南10公里处，保存着19架建于18世纪40年代的风车，已被列入世界遗产名录。

难得碰上阳光灿烂的好天气，四处逛了下，等到傍晚时，景点结束营业，游客们陆续离去，整个村子一片安宁静谧。风车和周边的房子，还有运河边的水草都静静地倒映在水中，被夕阳的金辉轻柔地裹上一层暖暖的外衣。

题图这张用来参加@ntopaz的风光摄影活动，发布时被截成16：9，所以也发张原图。去年我曾发过一张同一地点拍的黑白风车倒影（最后一张）。
