Greetings everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! It’s getting really warm here, and I’m sharing a simple recipe of the salad I made.

It’s inspired by the topping of a fish dish I had in Austria. So I’m also posting pictures of some dinners I had during that skiing holiday (see the first 8 photos, since the @wherein app I’m using now doesn’t allow me to insert texts between photos).

The starters and desserts were all delicious, but I was not a big fan of the main dishes made of game meat. My favorite main course was the fish dish with capers and boiled egg pieces.

capers are actually the unopened flower buds of the caper plants which are native to the Mediterranean region. Pickled capers add a lemony and tangy flavor to the plain fresh fish and eggs. This beautiful combination has inspired me to make a salad (the last photo).

As you can see, it’s very easy - just mix capers, boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes, and add olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle a bit black pepper and cilantro at last. That’s it! I feel the fresh salad with a Mediterranean touch is a good treat on this hot day. :) What do you think?

Hi，今天来分享几张美食照片，包括两个月前在奥地利滑雪时吃的一些晚餐，还有最后一张是我受到其中一道煎鱼配菜的启发自己做的简易沙拉。用来参加@wherein组织的美食活动，感兴趣的小伙伴也来玩吧～

前几道是含有野味肉的主菜、头盘和甜点。野味肉是指野猪🐗、野兔🐰、野鸡、野鹿之类，在中西欧这边常常是一通炖煮或煎烤，半生不熟的配上土豆泥、土豆块、土豆球、土豆饼、土豆条等各种土豆家的兄弟姐妹之一，再浇上各色酱汁，吃多了有点腻，而且我个人受不了那种野生血腥味，可能鼻子过于敏感吧。

感觉野味肉在西方很多地方挺受欢迎，荷兰语课上有个来自南非的女同桌就是专门烹饪野味肉的厨师，苦口婆心地安利了我几次仍旧觉得没法享受这类佳肴，😄还是乖乖吃我的家常肉禽和鱼类海鲜算了。

我很喜欢倒数第二张照片里的煎鱼配菜中的腌酸豆和水煮蛋碎的组合。酸豆其实是原产于地中海地区的植物刺山柑的花蕾，不知最初被哪个吃货拿来腌了当菜吃，从此一发不可收拾地红遍欧洲南北。尤其对于纯素食主义者来说简直是个大救星，因为它咸酸的味道和爽脆的口感给本身清淡的沙拉、意面等食物增色不少。

现在天气渐热，我借鉴这鱼的浇头，做了道清凉酸爽的沙拉。做法很简单：

• 水煮蛋切碎，和酸豆、樱桃番茄拌在一起；
• 倒入橄榄油和意式香醋；
• 撒上黑胡椒粒和香菜叶。

这道飘散着地中海气息的美味小食就完成啦！✅

GDevelop is an open-source, cross-platform game creator. It doesn’t require any programming skills, so it’s easy to use.

Anyone can use GDevelop to create 2D games, such as platformers, puzzles, shoot ‘em up, strategy, 8-bit games… It can be simple projects for fun or more ambitious indie games.

Events is a unique feature of GDevelop. It’s a powerful way to express the logic of your game without a programming language.

Users can publish games created with GDevelop to the web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and even Facebook Messenger. Games can also be exported in one click to Android from the app.

GDevelop also offers visual editors to prototype new features, and the game engine can be extended with Javascript.

Tutorials, examples and a complete documentation for the software are available.

As a wonderful opportunity to teach programming and game making, GDevelop has already been used in classrooms and online courses, with digital media students or children in first grade.

This project boasts user-friendly and creative features. I believe it’s a great tool that helps people without any programming knowledge turn their ideas into reality. Hopefully my translation in Simplified Chinese would bring more users to this platform. I’d love to see the large number of Chinese makers and educators benefit from this tool. So they can unleash their creativity to build games or programmes, and inspire students to do so as well.

Translation Overview

As you can see from the screenshots below, this project consists of 2 files - GDevelop 5 (editor) and GDevelop (core and extensions). In my first contribution, I started from the first file at 0%, and finished 36% (1,054 of 2,906 words).

Later, more source strings were added to the file making it 4,056 words in total. So this time I first went through the added strings on previous pages and translated them. I also reviewed the earlier translations for the consistency of the second half. 91% of the first file is completed at the time of writing.

The 91% has not been done by me alone though. There were other volunteers translating part of the file. However, they were not translators from our Chinese team qualified by @utopian-io and @davinci.witness. They translated some strings randomly and some just copied my translations and posted them again. I confirmed with our moderator and went on translating the left part. I also overwrote a few strings’ translations when I found them incorrect.

I appreciate the help from my proofreader @aafeng, who examined my translation work promptly and suggested three changes. I’m looking forward to working on the rest of the two files.

Hey everyone, have you tried pastilla? Right, it’s that pie in my plate here! I tried a couple of different pastillas in Morocco, and this one was served in a snack & juice bar called Kaowa in Marrakech. The place is located right opposite the popular garden - Yves Sant Laurent’s Jardin Majorelle.

This cozy and contemporary space is designed by renowned architect Imaad Rahmouni. Except for serving a wide range of fresh meals and soft drinks, it’s attached to a retail store that sells beautiful artworks. The staff here are warm and friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable considering its great location.

I ordered a pastilla dish for my lunch. Pastilla is a traditional Moroccan pastry that are also commonly found in other countries of the Maghreb.

This type of pie with a sugared crust is of Andalusian origin, typically filled with spiced pigeon meat and apricots. However, most of the pastillas I tried had chicken meat inside, like this one in my photo. They are usually pretty sweet. I personally preferred those more savory ones with seafood inside.
