Greetings everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! It’s getting really warm here, and I’m sharing a simple recipe of the salad I made.
It’s inspired by the topping of a fish dish I had in Austria. So I’m also posting pictures of some dinners I had during that skiing holiday (see the first 8 photos, since the @wherein app I’m using now doesn’t allow me to insert texts between photos).
The starters and desserts were all delicious, but I was not a big fan of the main dishes made of game meat. My favorite main course was the fish dish with capers and boiled egg pieces.
capers are actually the unopened flower buds of the caper plants which are native to the Mediterranean region. Pickled capers add a lemony and tangy flavor to the plain fresh fish and eggs. This beautiful combination has inspired me to make a salad (the last photo).

As you can see, it’s very easy - just mix capers, boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes, and add olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle a bit black pepper and cilantro at last. That’s it! I feel the fresh salad with a Mediterranean touch is a good treat on this hot day. :) What do you think?
Hi,今天来分享几张美食照片,包括两个月前在奥地利滑雪时吃的一些晚餐,还有最后一张是我受到其中一道煎鱼配菜的启发自己做的简易沙拉。用来参加@wherein组织的美食活动,感兴趣的小伙伴也来玩吧~
前几道是含有野味肉的主菜、头盘和甜点。野味肉是指野猪🐗、野兔🐰、野鸡、野鹿之类,在中西欧这边常常是一通炖煮或煎烤,半生不熟的配上土豆泥、土豆块、土豆球、土豆饼、土豆条等各种土豆家的兄弟姐妹之一,再浇上各色酱汁,吃多了有点腻,而且我个人受不了那种野生血腥味,可能鼻子过于敏感吧。
感觉野味肉在西方很多地方挺受欢迎,荷兰语课上有个来自南非的女同桌就是专门烹饪野味肉的厨师,苦口婆心地安利了我几次仍旧觉得没法享受这类佳肴,😄还是乖乖吃我的家常肉禽和鱼类海鲜算了。
我很喜欢倒数第二张照片里的煎鱼配菜中的腌酸豆和水煮蛋碎的组合。酸豆其实是原产于地中海地区的植物刺山柑的花蕾,不知最初被哪个吃货拿来腌了当菜吃,从此一发不可收拾地红遍欧洲南北。尤其对于纯素食主义者来说简直是个大救星,因为它咸酸的味道和爽脆的口感给本身清淡的沙拉、意面等食物增色不少。
现在天气渐热,我借鉴这鱼的浇头,做了道清凉酸爽的沙拉。做法很简单:
- 水煮蛋切碎,和酸豆、樱桃番茄拌在一起;
- 倒入橄榄油和意式香醋;
- 撒上黑胡椒粒和香菜叶。
这道飘散着地中海气息的美味小食就完成啦!✅
