Today, I just tried to visit steemit.com site as usual, but I found that I can’t access it normally.

I got following response when I visited https://steemit.com in browser:

Oh, there seems something wrong about steemit.com:(

I tried again after a nap, and got:

I discussed it with my friends at QQ group.
Some of them said that steemit.com works normally, but others can’t work with it.

So I try to finger out what happen?

• First I ping the domain of steemit.com at the command prompt:
  
  As you can see, the ping worked fine, and the IP address is 167.114.34.68

• When I tried to use the IP address directly at browser, I got the same error as I access it with the domain.
  
  But why some of my friends can worked with the site?

作为一个社交媒体平台，内容毫无疑问是最重要的元素。
想象如果这个平台充斥着广告、水贴、色情与暴力等垃圾信息，那么想必离死亡非常接近了。

作为去中心化的平台，尽管顶贴（点赞）等机制会尽量筛选出优质内容呈现在我们眼前，但作为参与的每一个个体，都应当尽量去生产有价值的内容。如果参与者不但会从发文、点赞等行为获得回报，而且会从平台的其它参与者的内容中汲取养分、学习知识、解决困惑，这样平台才会良好发展。

那么怎样才能产生有价值的内容呢？
阅读了近期大部分CN标签下的帖子，并结合自己的理解，我认为可以从以下几个方向来考虑：

• 指导性内容
• 有益有趣的内容
• 有技术含量的内容
• 有价值的问题
• 原创文学作品
• 其它有价值的内容

指导性内容

作为一个新兴的平台，难免有很多人不了解。
包括但不限于Steemit是什么、如何注册、如果使用等，毕竟很多人没有精力去研究白皮书之类的，那么简单明了的指导性帖子就非常有必要了。

得益于在一个社区内认识的一些布道者，他们辛苦创作了一系列的指导贴。也是因为他们的努力，我知道了Steem，并对此产生了兴趣，也是因为他们的指导帖，解决了我在注册和使用中的许多困惑。
@xiaohui, @laonie, @somebody, @noodles.pan, …

也许你说，作为一个新人，我对这个平台还没有完全了解，更别提创作出什么指导性内容了。
这种担心是完全没有必要的。使用过程的点滴经验都是可以分享的，即便理解有误也没关系，因为大神们会热心指出你的问题，这样才能不断的改进和提高。

生活中总会发生一些有趣有益的事情，或者令人感动的事情。

一篇把一个父亲对女孩的爱展现的淋淋尽致。另一篇则是儿子对父亲满满的关心。两个都是成功父亲的典范啊。类似这样的帖子，既有趣味性又有教育性，我看完不禁思考，在培养和教育孩子上，我做的还有那些不足，该如何改进。所以，我认为这些都是优质内容。

作为一枚“搞技术”的IT人士，啊哈，不要嘲笑我自己加了个”搞技术“头衔，其实我们每个人都是各行各业搞技术的不是吗？OK，如果对此没有异议，那么我觉得我们懂的、在学的、计划去了解的，都可以和他人分享。

怎么说呢？不明觉厉啊。
但是我觉得总会有需要的人从中获益。今天也许我还不懂，等哪天学习到这个步骤的时候，发现，啊，有人给出这样的技术贴，是多么幸福的事情啊。

最近我在玩Arduino、Intel Edison、Raspberry Pi、香蕉派等开源硬件，回头我会把自己的一些心得分享给大家。

有价值的问题

生活中、工作中、学习中，难免遇到各种各样的问题，比如作为IT人，可能常常要接触 Stack Overflow，至少我从上边获得过不少帮助（当然，我大部分时候是搜索）。对于那些无私回答别人问题的朋友，我始终心怀敬意，也觉得他们应该获得报酬。

如果把Steemit和 Stack Overflow结合起来，想必是极好的。

原创文学作品

国内各种文学网站，起点等都产生了不少大神和富豪。那么把文学作品搬到Steem上来会如何呢？

Almost all of the articles are illustrated on Steemit.
So I try to figure out how to insert pictures in steemit articles?

Then I found two ways: (Maybe more)

• Use the Editor to insert images
• Insert images with Markdown

But before you can insert images in article, you MUST have the images URL first.
In other words, you must upload your images to the images host.
Maybe there are a lot of images host providers you can choose, select the one you like.

For me, I upload them to my personal host.
And then, I got the URL of images I upload, for example:
http://steemit.serviceuptime.net/images/geyou_20160729.jpg

The first way: Use the Editor to insert images

1. Open the post page by click the link “Submit a Story” at upper right corner of steemit.
2. And click the “Editor” link at upper right corner of the 2nd text area.
3. More tools will appeared at the top of the 2nd text area.
4. Click the image icon, and input the image URL you got, and click the checkmark to insert it.

A bit cumbersome? I think so!

The Second way: Insert images with Markdown.

The syntax to insert images:
![GitHub Logo](/images/logo.png)
Format: ![Alt Text](url)

So for the images I want to insert, the syntax:

所以我研究一下如何在Steemit文章中插入图片。

最终我发现了两种方式：（或许更多）

• 使用编辑器插入图像
• 使用Markdown插入图像

在插入图像之前，你必须首先有图像的URL。
换句话说，你必须将你的图像上传到图像主机。
或许有很多图像主机提供商供你选择，选一个你喜欢的。

我将图像上传到了我的个人站点上。
然后获得了上传的图像的URL，例如
http://steemit.serviceuptime.net/images/geyou_20160729.jpg

第一种方式：使用编辑器插入图像

1. 点击Steemit右上角的”Submit a Story”打开发帖页面
2. 点击第二个文本框右上角的”Editor”链接.
3. 在第二个文本框上部出现一堆工具按钮.
4. 点击图像按钮, 输入你的图像URL, 点击对号插入图像.

是不是很麻烦？我也觉得！

第二种方式: 使用Markdown插入图像.
